About Elaf Group

A trusted name in agri-commodities, built over three decades.

Founded in 1991 in Kerala, India, Elaf Group has grown from a small regional trader into a leading exporter of premium rice, pulses, oil seeds, spices, nuts and allied food products. Through every change in the global market, one belief has stayed constant: quality products, ethical practices and long-term relationships create lasting impact.

Today we source from the most consistent mills, farms and processors across the subcontinent, operate an integrated supply chain, and deliver to procurement teams, food manufacturers and distributors in nine countries across Asia, North America and Europe. Our work is judged by one measure — the buyer who orders again.

We exist to make the journey from Indian soil to the world's pantries shorter, safer and more transparent — for the farmer, the partner and the consumer alike.

Our Story

Three decades from a Kerala port to three continents.

The Elaf story began in 1991 in Kerala, on the southwestern coast of India — a small trading house with a few sacks of rice, a port nearby, and a stubborn idea: that good products and honest dealing would, eventually, be enough.

Over three decades, that idea became a company. Through monsoons and market cycles, through generations of farmers and buyers, we grew into one of India's trusted exporters of agri-commodities — keeping the same simple commitment: show up, deliver well, do it again next season.

What hasn't changed is the way we work. What has changed is everything else — our scale, our certifications, our infrastructure, and the partners we get to serve. We're proud of where we've come from. We're more interested in what comes next.
